Thank you for the opportunity to introduce ourselves to you. Legacy Home Improvement, LLC is a family owned/operated business. We were founded by Harold Aikey in May of 1959 as a home builder and remodeler. While our early years were dominated by home building, remodeling steadily grew as part of our business. In early 1979 we built our last house and have been full time in the remodeling industry ever since.

Today we are owned by Kirk Aikey, son of the founder. Kirk is a member of the Home Builders Association of Richmond (HBAR), is a member of the National Association of Home Builder’s Remodelers Council (NAHBR), and has been Chairman of the local Remodelers Council. Kirk has his certifications from the
National Home Builder’s Association (NAHB), Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR), Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS), and Certified Green
Professional (CGP). 

Legacy Home Improvement, LLC has maintained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, and is referred constantly by our past customers. It is always our goal to turn every customer into a “Raving Fan”.
